Broccoli Soup
Broccoli Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. broccoli, 1/2 lb. oleo, 1 c. flour, 1 qt. chicken stock and 3 or 4 chicken cubes and 1 qt. half and half, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cut broccoli in small pieces.
Put in pan with 1 cup water and steam until tender.
Do not drain.
Set aside.
Take oleo and melt.
Stir flour into oleo; cook 2 to 4 minutes.
Stir constantly.
Add chicken stalk; bring to boil.
Add broccoli and half and half and mix together.
Heat, but do not boil.
