Broccoli Soup
Broccoli Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 16 oz. frozen broccoli, 1 1/2 c. water, 1 1/2 sticks melted margarine, onion salt to taste and garlic salt to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Put water and broccoli in a large saucepan.
Add margarine, onion salt, garlic salt and onion and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Add milk and cheese; stir constantly to avoid sticking.
Simmer 5 to 10 minutes more, then mix cornstarch and milk together and add to thicken soup.
Heat thoroughly.
Serves 4 to 6.
