Broccoli Dip
Broccoli Dip is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, 1 (8 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained, 1 c. real butter, 1 large onion, chopped and 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook broccoli according to directions and drain.
Saute onions in butter.
Add all ingredients except mushrooms and water chestnuts.
Simmer on low heat until cheese is melted.
Add mushrooms and chestnuts.
Serve in chafing dish with Fritos or crackers.
May be turned into casserole by putting broccoli mixture into casserole dish, topping with buttered bread or cracker crumbs and baked until bubbly.
