Grease bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

If you use foil pans, no need to grease them.

Spread coconut on bottom of pan.

Spread pecans on top of coconut.

Prepare cake mix as directed on package.

Pour cake mix on top of pecans.

Mix softened margarine, cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. Drop spoonfuls of cheese mixture on top of cake batter; do not stir.
