Breakfast Muffins

Combine 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Set aside
In a bowl, stir together flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, nutmeg and salt
In another bowl, combine egg, milk and 1/3 cup melted butter
Add to flour mixture
Stir until moistened
Fill greased muffin pan (or line with baking cups) 2/3 full
Bake in 350Β° oven for 20 to 25 minutes
Immediately dip tops into 3 tablespoons melted butter, then dip or sprinkle tops in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
