Breakfast Kuchen
Breakfast Kuchen is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream butter and sugar well.
Beat in eggs one at a time.
Beat in the flour, baking powder and extracts.
Mix well.
Reserve 1 cup of this batter.
Spread the remaining batter into a 13 x 9-inch greased pan.
With a tablespoon, drop the pie filling over the batter.
Then with the cup of reserved batter, dot it over the filling at random.
Don't spread it.
Bake at 350Β° for approximately 30 to 35 minutes or until it tests done.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
