Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices bread, buttered (crust cut off), 1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained on paper towels, 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 6 eggs and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Grease a 9 x 13 x 2-inch casserole.
Place bread over bottom.
Cover with layer of sausage, then a layer of cheese.
Beat together well the eggs, milk and salt, then pour over cheese.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Next day, uncover casserole and bake 45 minutes at 350Β°.
