Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 slices white bread, 1 lb. sausage, cooked, 1 c. grated cheese (medium), 6 eggs, beaten and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Remove crusts and cube bread.
Place into greased 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
Cook and drain sausage.
Alternate sausage and cheese, making four layers.
Mix eggs and milk together.
Pour over casserole.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
May be made ahead and refrigerated.
