Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sausage, cooked and broken up, 6 slices white bread, 1 c. grated longhorn cheese, 2 c. half and half and 5 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Fry and break up sausage; drain well.
Cut crust off bread and discard.
Butter both sides of bread and cut in cubes.
Spread bread on bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole.
Top with sausage.
Cover completely with grated cheese.
Mix remaining ingredients together; beat well.
Pour liquid over top of cheese, sausage and bread.
At this point, you can refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes or until slightly brown.
Good with buttered muffins.
