Place 6 slices of bread in a greased 9 x 12-inch casserole dish. Top with half the sausage and 1 cup cheese.
Put remaining bread, then sausage and cheese.
Pour the egg mixture over sausage, bread and cheese.
Bake at 350Β° for about 45 minutes.
