Layer the first 4 ingredients in order in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
Beat remaining ingredients together and pour over bread in pan.
Cover in refrigerator overnight.
In the morning, make a topping of 2 cups crushed cornflakes and 1/2 cup melted butter. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
