Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 slices white bread, butter or margarine, 1 lb. fresh pork sausage (bulk), 16 oz. pkg. swiss cheese, sliced and 6 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Trim crust (or not) from bread and lightly butter.
Cook sausage until lightly brown (drain).
Place 6 slices of bread in a 9 x 13-inch pan, buttered side up.
Spread 1/2 of sausage and cheese over bread.
Place 6 more slices of bread on top followed by rest of sausage and cheese.
