Break Away Bread
Break Away Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1 c. lukewarm water, 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. shortening and 3/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
In large bowl, pour boiling water over shortening to dissolve.
Add sugar, salt, eggs, flour and dissolved yeast.
Mix well.
Refrigerate overnight.
Roll out thick; cut with biscuit cutter.
Dip each piece into melted butter and stack into Bundt pan or tube pan.
Let rise for 2 to 3 hours. Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
Dump onto plate and break away.
