Bread Sticks
Bread Sticks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. warm water, 1 pkg. yeast, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 1/2 c. flour and 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine first 3 ingredients.
Let stand a few minutes.
Blend remaining ingredients. (Add 1/2 cup more flour if dough is too sticky.) Let rise 1 hour, covered, in warm place.
Roll dough on floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut into strips 1/2-inch wide and 5-inches long.
Melt 4 tablespoons margarine.
Dip strips in margarine.
Put on cookie sheet and twist.
Let rise 20 minutes.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 15 minutes.
