Bread Pudding
Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 slices bread, 3 1/2 c. milk, 4 tbsp. sugar, 4 eggs, separated and 1 tbsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Break bread into ovenproof dish that has at least 1 1/2-quart capacity.
Soften bread with small amount of milk.
Beat 4 tablespoons of sugar and egg yolks.
Add remaining milk; stir well.
Add vanilla and salt.
Pour milk mixture over bread.
Fold in raisins.
Dot with butter.
Place dish in pan of water.
Bake at 300Β° for 40 to 50 minutes, or until silver knife inserted comes out clean.
Remove from oven.
