Bread Pudding
Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. loaf homestyle bread, 6 c. milk, 5 to 6 eggs, 1/4 c. sugar (about) and vanilla and nutmeg to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Break bread into small pieces in 2 (9 x 12-inch) glass cake pans.
Beat 3 cups of milk together with 2 to 3 eggs.
Add sugar, raisins and seasoning and pour 1/2 over each pan.
Put raisins and nutmeg on top.
Beat rest of eggs and milk and pour over mixture. Allow to stand about 10 minutes.
Bake at 350° for about 10 minutes.
Turn oven down to 300° and bake about 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
Makes 24 servings.
