Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. stale french bread, 4 eggs, 1 qt. milk, scalded, 1/2 c. butter, melted and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Soak the bread which has been broken into small pieces in the milk.
Cream well the butter and sugar and add the eggs, one at a time.
Stir in the vanilla, raisins, pecans and bourbon.
Mix with soaked bread.
