Bread Pot Cheese Dip
Bread Pot Cheese Dip is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 round firm loaf bread (8 to 10-inch diameter), 2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 6 oz. softened cream cheese, 1 1/2 c. sour cream and 1 c. diced cooked ham, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350°.
Slice off top of bread.
Reserve top. Hollow out to 1/2-inch shell.
Combine Cheddar, sour cream and cream cheese in bowl.
Add ham, onion, chilies and Worcestershire sauce.
Spoon cheese filling into bread shell; replace top of bread.
Tightly wrap loaf in several layers of foil.
Set on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Stir filling before serving.
Remaining bread can be made into croutons.
