Bread Dumplings
Bread Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 slices white bread, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 c. sifted flour, 1 tbsp. salt and 1 beaten egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Dice and fry bread in butter until crisp.
Remove and place on paper towel.
In large bowl, mix flour and salt.
Mix egg and milk and stir into flour mixture.
Form into dumplings around bread cubes, using 3 to 4 cubes per dumpling.
Drop into boiling water, taking care that dumplings do not stick.
Cover and boil gently 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
Makes 4 servings.
