Braised Doves is an easy dinner. Made with 6 doves, 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper and shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Roll doves in a dry mixture of flour, salt and pepper.
Brown birds in a skillet with a small amount of shortening added.
Remove most of the drippings and add a small amount of water.
Simmer birds over low heat for 1 hour.
