Boston Style Beans
Boston Style Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. navy pea beans, 9 c. cold water, 3 tsp. dry mustard, 5 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Wash beans and leave in water to soak 8 hours or overnight. Bring to boil and cook until tender.
Mix mustard, salt, pepper, sugar, molasses, vinegar and chili sauce.
Add to beans; add onion.
Cut salt pork into slices; scald with hot water.
Drain and add to beans.
Bake at 375Β° for approximately 4 hours.
Add more boiling water during cooking if beans seem dry.
