Boston Brown Bread
Boston Brown Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. raisins, 2 c. water, 2 3/4 tbsp. butter, 1 tsp. salt and 2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Simmer raisins and water for approximately 15 minutes.
Add salt, baking soda and butter.
Let cool.
Then mix together eggs, sugar, vanilla and flour and add to raisin mixture, mixing well. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans or may use 1 or 2 pound coffee cans. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Put pan of water in bottom of oven.
