Bologna Candy
Bologna Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. milk, 1 lb. dates (2 1/2 c.), 1 c. flaked coconut and 1/2 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine sugar and milk in 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (234Β°), stirring occasionally. Add dates and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is very thick and leaves the side of the pan when stirred. Remove from heat. Stir in coconut and nuts.
Cool slightly. Turn out on wet towel.
Place in refrigerator and chill.
Make a roll 2-inches in diameter and about 18-inches long, like rolls of cookie dough. Cut in slices to serve.
Makes 2 1/4 pounds.
