Take Highway 231 south out of Dothan to Highway 109.

Turn right.

Go to Florida state line, first farm on right past state line.

Get about 1 1/2 gallons of green peanuts, about 3/4 matured (not fully mature).

Bring home.

Put in cast-iron pot with 3 or 4 gallons of water.

Add salt to taste. Boil slowly 1 1/2 to 2 hours until peanuts are tender.
