Boiled Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. milk, 1/4 c. cocoa, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 stick butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix sugar, cocoa, milk and butter; bring to boil.
Boil 2 minutes.
Beat and let cool.
Add oatmeal, vanilla and salt.
Add pecans or coconut.
Drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper.
Let set until completely cool.
You may want to use 1/2 cup peanut brittle instead of pecans or coconut.
