Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, 1 at a time; beat well. Sift flour; re-measure 2 1/2 cups.
Add salt and baking powder. Save 1/2 cup for flouring blueberries.
Add dry ingredients in 4 parts on low speed of mixer.
Fold in floured blueberries.
