Blitzen Cuken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 egg yolks, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. flour, 1/4 c. butter and 4 tbsp. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cream butter and sugar; add beaten egg yolks.
Add baking powder to flour and add alternately with milk.
Spread on 2 buttered round cake tins.
Beat egg whites until stiff, adding cream of tartar.
Add sugar gradually.
Place meringue on top of cake batter; sprinkle with chopped pecans.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350Β°.
Spread layer with whipped cream (strawberries may be added to whipped cream).
Top with second layer and enjoy!
