Blitz Torte
Blitz Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 3/4 c. powdered sugar, 4 eggs, separated, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten egg yolks and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder alternately with milk.
Spread in two layer pans (greased).
Cover with meringue or egg whites and 1 cup sugar.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
Bake at 325Β° for 45 minutes.
