Blackberry Wine
Blackberry Wine is an easy dinner. Made with 10 lb. blackberries (5 qt. berries), 5 lb. sugar and 2 1/2 qt. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mash the berries in a crockery container.
Add water and allow to stand, covered, for 3 days.
Strain through a jelly bag and put the juice back in the crock.
Add the sugar and let the juice work. When fermentation has stopped, skim the wine, strain and bottle.
