Black Walnut Cake
Black Walnut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 2 eggs, 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 4 tbsp. buttermilk and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
Combine soda and buttermilk; stir until soda dissolves.
Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
