Bison Chili
Bison Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 2 lb. ground bison, 2 medium onions, finely chopped, 46 oz. tomato juice, 1/2 to 1 (46 oz.) can water and 1 (31 oz.) brooks hot chili beans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In large kettle, fry onions in small amount of margarine, then add ground bison.
Cook until almost done.
Combine all ingredients and simmer for 10 to 20 minutes.
Serve with crackers or toast bison cut-outs, cucumber slices and carrot sticks. Freeze in 14 to 16 ounce containers.
Heat for 5 to 7 minutes in the microwave.
