Biscuitti is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, 1 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. oil, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. anise seeds or anise extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
👨🍳 Instructions
Beat the eggs slightly. Gradually add sugar and oil. Mix well. Sift baking powder and flour together, and gradually add into mixture.
Add anise to the mixture.
Place the entire mix into a jelly roll sheet pan (or French bread loaf pan) and spread evenly.
Preheat oven to 350° and cook for 20 minutes. Cool.
Cut into slices and brown on each side at 400° for just a few minutes.
