Bird's Nest Pie
Bird'S Nest Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. spaghetti noodles, 2 beaten eggs, 1/3 c. parmesan cheese, 2 tbsp. margarine and 1/2 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Break spaghetti in half and cook until done.
Drain.
While still warm, combine noodles with eggs and Parmesan cheese.
Pour in a well-greased pie pan.
Press up sides.
Saute onion in margarine until transparent.
Stir in sour cream and spoon over spaghetti. Brown sausage.
Drain.
Add tomato paste and water.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Spoon over sour cream mix.
(Can be frozen, if desired. If frozen, thaw before baking.)
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes, uncovered.
Arrange cheese over pie and return to oven until cheese melts.
