Cream butter and sugar well.
Add egg yolks and vanilla.
Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Sift flour, soda, salt and spices. Add dry mixture to egg mixture with sour milk.

Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 275Β° for 20 minutes.

7 to 8 dozen.
