Combine margarine, eggs, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla.
Mix well until creamy.
Add flour, salt, cinnamon, baking powder and soda that has been sifted together.
Mix well.
Add oatmeal and mix.
Add chips or candies or nuts.
Drop by tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325Β° for approximately 15 minutes.
Makes 275 to 300 cookies.
