Betty'S Delicious Chocolate Candy("Something For Ray'S Sweet Tooth") is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. (small) carnation milk, 1 2/3 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 c. small marshmallows and 1 1/2 c. chocolate pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix Carnation milk, sugar and salt in saucepan.
Heat to boiling.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, chocolate, vanilla and nuts.
Stir 1 to 2 minutes, or until marshmallows melt.
Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan.
Decorate before it cools (use your artistic talent and whatever you have, walnut halves, little candy beads, big candy mints).
Cut in squares after cooling.
