Cream butter.
Gradually add sugar.
Whip until light, beating well after each addition.
Add 2 eggs at a time.
Add flour and milk alternately, then add vanilla with mixer on low speed.
Pour batter into slightly greased and floured 10-inch tube pan; bake 1 1/2 hours to cook.
Bake in 325Β° oven.
