Best Play Dough is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. water, 1/2 c. salt, food coloring, 2 tbsp. cooking oil and 2 tbsp. powdered alum, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Bring the first 3 ingredients to a boil, dissolving the salt. While hot, add the next three ingredients.
The dough will be very lumpy.
Knead until smooth, approximately 5 minutes.
