Best Pear Preserves
Best Pear Preserves is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. thinly sliced peeled pears *, 3 c. sugar, 3 c. water, 1 lemon, thinly sliced, or can use real lemon juice and 1 lb. ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Crumble beef into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish; add onion. Microwave on High, uncovered, for 5 to 6 minutes or until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Add beans, rice, catsup, 3 tablespoons brown sugar, mustard and pepper.
Mix well.
Cut apple into 10 thin slices.
Arrange in clockwise pattern on top of the casserole.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
Cover with lid.
Microwave at High for 8 to 9 minutes or until heated through (150Β°).
Serves 6.
