Best Chocolate Icing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 sq. baker's unsweetened chocolate, 1/2 c. milk, 1 stick oleo and 1/4 c. white karo syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix sugar, chocolate, milk and oleo. Boil 3 minutes (no more). Remove from heat and add syrup and vanilla.
Beat until thick enough to spread on layers.
