Beer Beans
Beer Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large onion, chopped, 1 green bell pepper, chopped, 2 lb. ground meat, 1 can ro-tel tomatoes and 1 can mushrooms (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Brown ground beef, onion and bell pepper.
Drain grease when beef is browned.
Add Ro-tel tomatoes, beans, garlic, salt, mushrooms and pepper.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat.
Add beer if you want to.
If not, add 1 cup water and simmer for 45 minutes. May add more water if you want it soupier.
You can't really taste the beer when added.
