Beer Batter
Beer Batter is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/3 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1 tbsp. melted butter and 2 egg yolks, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix ingredients and add 3/4 cup flat beer.
Let batter rest for 3 hours.
Just before using, add 3 egg whites, beaten stiff. This is a great batter for fondue (gee, does anyone fondue any more?!)
It is very light and crispy, but gets soggy if not consumed as soon as the item is cooked.
