Brown ground beef and onion (drain).
Mix corn meal, soda, salt, cream corn, eggs, milk.
Pour half in greased 9 X 13 pan.
Sprinkle cheese, ground beef and onion.
Add remaining corn meal mixture.
Bake as regular corn bread.
