Beefeater Pie
Beefeater Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) pkg. croutons (save out 1 c.), 1/2 c. warm water, 2 eggs, 1 lb. hamburg and 1 chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Add warm water to croutons; mix and press into buttered 10-inch pie plate.
Scramble hamburg and onion; drain off fat. Add cheese, eggs, catsup or barbecue sauce and cup of croutons. Press onto crouton crust.
Top with sliced tomatoes.
Bake at 400Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Top with cheese; bake 2 minutes longer.
