Beef Vinnie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 lb. lean cubed or sirloin round steak, 1 clove chopped garlic or garlic powder, 1/8 tsp. crumbled rosemary leaves, 1/4 tsp. basil leaves and dash of ground oregano, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Quickly brown cubed or sirloin steak in 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add garlic during last 30 seconds of browning. Add liquid ingredients and seasonings. Simmer 30 minutes. The last 5 minutes, add 1/4 pound fresh sliced mushrooms and garnish with 2 green onions. Serve with side dish of pasta.
Cover pasta with meat, juices, green onions and mushrooms.
