Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 to 2 lb. sirloin steak, cubed, 1/4 c. butter, 1/3 c. onion, 2 tbsp. flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Brown sirloin steak in butter.
Add onion.
Add flour, salt, paprika and mushrooms.
Let simmer 5 minutes.
Add cream of mushroom soup and simmer about 10 minutes.
(This much may be done ahead and reheated later.)
Add sour cream shortly before serving and heat through for 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes 4 generous servings. Serve on rice, noodles or Uncle Ben's long grain wild rice.
