Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. beef chuck, cubed, 3 large onions, minced, 1 pt. sour cream, 3/4 lb. mushrooms and 1/4 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Simmer meat in water, just to cover, for 1 1/2 hours.
Cook onions in butter until golden.
Add meat to onions; cook until brown.
Add mushrooms.
Season with spices; simmer for 3 hours. Stir in sour cream over low flame, until well blended.
Serve over wide noodles.
Serves 4.
