Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 boneless sirloin steak (1 1/2-inches thick), 1/3 c. margarine, 2 medium onions, sliced, 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced and 1 can condensed beef broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Trim away any excess fat from steak and cut into 1/4 slices. Heat a large skillet until very hot with about 1 tablespoon butter and swirl to coat bottom of pan.
Pan fry beef strips, a few at a time, 1 minute on each side or until steak is as done as you like it.
Add remaining butter to skillet and stir in onions.
Saute about 5 minutes.
Push to 1 side, stir in mushrooms and saute for 3 minutes.
Add beef broth and salt and simmer 5 minutes.
