Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. sliced round steak, 1/4 c. flour, dash of pepper, 1/4 c. margarine or butter and 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cut steak into thick strips; dust with flour and pepper.
In large skillet, brown meat in margarine or butter.
Add mushrooms, onion and garlic; brown lightly.
Stir in beef broth or cubes. Cover and cook about 1 hour or until meat is tender.
Stir occasionally.
Gradually stir in sour cream; cook over low heat 5 minutes.
Serve over cooked noodles.
