Beef Stew
Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small roast, 1 tbsp. corn oil, 1 onion, chopped, 1 celery stalk, chopped and 1/4 c. chopped bell pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Brown roast on both sides in 1 tablespoon corn oil. Remove from pot and saute onion, bell pepper and celery. Return roast to pot and add 1 cup water. Cook approximately 1 hour.
Pour off broth and put in refrigerator to chill and remove fat.
Put back in pot and add tomatoes (fresh and canned), beans, carrots, Equal and black pepper.
Cook until done. Cut beef into small pieces and serve over cooked rice.
